Hilton Chicago

720 S. Michigan Avenue, on the participant page. The housing partner is Maritz, and the 2027 housing site is described as open. We did not open a live rate.

Neither pin is the Columbus and Monroe start. That intersection did not geocode.

Edition status

The FAQ, opened 4 November 2026, says the 49th running is Sunday 10 October 2027. The start is Grant Park at Columbus Drive and Monroe Drive. The finish is Columbus Drive south of Balbo Drive. Time limit 6 hours 30 minutes. The participant page prints a Sunday schedule and says the times can change. No GPX. We do not have a surveyed pin for the Columbus and Monroe intersection.

The participant page names Hilton Chicago at 720 S. Michigan Avenue as the headquarters hotel. OpenStreetMap places Chicago Hilton & Towers at that address. hilton.com did not return a page on this check.

Consider: The Sunday schedule opens Grant Park to spectators at 9:30 a.m. The hotel is not the start mat. A later gear window at the Grand Tradition Room sits in a section that still says 4 December 2026, so we are not confirming it for 2027.

The hotel location page prints 636 South Michigan Avenue, Chicago, IL 60605, at the northwest corner of Michigan Avenue and Balbo Avenue.

Consider: Balbo is the finish street in the FAQ. This corner is not the mat on Columbus. We did not check a race room block.

Which area fits?

Near the start

The FAQ puts the start at Columbus Drive and Monroe Drive in Grant Park. OpenStreetMap returned no intersection for that pair on 4 November 2026. This pin is the earlier catalog coordinate, not a new survey.

Grant Park opens to spectators at 9:30 a.m., after the waves have started. A start hotel does not mean a start view.
