Tallinn Marathon · September 2026

Emergencies

Save the organizer, Estonia's 112 emergency number, your insurer, the hotel, and one exact reunion fallback before race week. The correct emergency plan is short enough to use under stress.

In this guide · 3 decisions
  1. 01Use race medical help first on course
  2. 02Save a verified Tallinn emergency department
  3. 03Build a lost-contact fallback

Use race medical help first on course

Medical aid is available along the course and at the Freedom Square competition center. Tell the nearest marshal or medical worker when you or another person needs help; the regulations direct participants to call 112 when needed.

Do not keep racing through chest pain, collapse, confusion, severe breathing difficulty, or symptoms that feel dangerous. The organizer may remove a runner for clear medical problems.

  • Estonia emergency number: 112.
  • Organizer: +372 608 7576 and [email protected].
  • Carry identification, medication details, insurer contact, and emergency contact.

TripRace is planning information, not medical advice. In a life-threatening emergency, call 112 and follow race medical staff.

Save a verified Tallinn emergency department

East Tallinn Central Hospital publishes its Centre of Emergency Medicine at Ravi 18 for acute and life-threatening conditions in patients aged 16 and older. This saved location is a reference, not proof that it is the nearest or correct destination in every emergency.

Call 112 for a life-threatening situation and follow dispatch instructions rather than navigating independently from a TripRace pin.

  • Save the hospital page and hotel address offline.
  • Know the travel insurer's assistance number.
  • Bring enough prescription medication in original packaging.

Build a lost-contact fallback

The group should know what happens when batteries die or mobile service slows: one post-finish place, one time threshold, and one person who remains there. The runner carries the hotel address in writing.

US travelers can save the US Embassy Tallinn information at Kentmanni 20 and the State Department's Estonia page. Other travelers should save their own embassy or consular contact.

  • Do not use the finish line as the meeting point.
  • Share the itinerary and insurance details with one trusted person.
  • Keep backup payment and copies of essential documents separate from the originals.

Edition status

The organizer has confirmed the September 11–13, 2026 weekend, Sunday 09:00 marathon, Falgi Road start and finish, Freedom Square race office and expo hours, entry pricing, and participant services. The organizer calls every 2026 route single-lap and fast-profiled, but TripRace did not find a downloadable 2026 GPX or a published elevation total on August 24. The atlas therefore uses clearly labeled reference geography from the organizer's official 2025 course map and description; the final 2026 map and participant instructions always override it.
