What is published
The FAQ calls it flat, with about 20 m of elevation difference: minimum altitude 10 m, maximum 30 m, and about 6 km of cobbles. It says the course may change a little.
Landmarks on that list: Imperial Forums and the Colosseum for the start and the finish, Arch of Constantine, Circo Massimo, Porta San Paolo, Pyramid of Cestius, Basilica of St Paul, St Peter's, Foro Italico, Piazza Augusto Imperatore, Ara Pacis, Piazza del Popolo, Piazza di Spagna, Piazza Navona, the Capitoline steps, Theatre of Marcellus, Bocca della Verità. No kilometres.
What we did not store
No GPX, no street-by-street file, and no climb total. The 20 m figure is the FAQ's altitude difference, so elevation gain stays empty. We stored 30 m as the published altitude ceiling.
The marathon page still shows wave clocks for Sunday 22 March 2026. Those clocks are not the 2027 gun.
The clock
FAQ: the start is given from 08:00, in waves. Rules, April and September: approximately 08:30. We did not collapse that into one time.
Official time is from your wave's gun. Net time is from when you cross the start line. Splits are published at km 10, km 21.097, and km 30. The limit is 7 hours. Intermediate limits come later.
The FAQ prints men's grids: yellow to 2:45:00, orange 2:45:01–3:25:00, green 3:25:01–3:40:00, blue 3:40:01–4:00:00, white from 4:00:01. The September rules still say the grid scheme will be communicated later. No women's bands were on that FAQ block.

Checked 5 November 2026 against the FAQ, the September Italian rules, the April English short rules, both expo pages, and the ENDU card that still says Register now. No GPX. The finish is the same named area as the start, not a surveyed mat.
