Gun

The FAQ says the start is given from 08:00 on Via dei Fori Imperiali, in waves a few minutes apart. The April and September rules say approximately 08:30. Both are organizer text.

Course file

No GPX on the pages we opened. The FAQ gives altitude, not a line: about 20 m of difference, low 10 m, high 30 m, and about 6 km of cobbles.

Where to stay

Two hotels next to the named start, checked on their own sites. Stay22 can search the Forums and Circo Massimo from here.

Near the start

The Stay22 zone Near the start uses the Via dei Fori Imperiali pin. Hotel Forum's zone is that pin. NH Collection uses the GPS the hotel prints.

What we left off

No hotel at Circo Massimo, because we did not open a hotel site with an address there. The zone is still on the map for the expo and the course list.

Edition status

Checked 5 November 2026 against the FAQ, the September Italian rules, the April English short rules, both expo pages, and the ENDU card that still says Register now. No GPX. The finish is the same named area as the start, not a surveyed mat.

Beside the named start

Hotel Forum

The hotel's own site lists Via Tor de' Conti 25, 00184 Rome.

Consider: That is a hotel door, not the start mat, and not a proof the course passes it.

Beside the named start

NH Collection Roma Fori Imperiali

The hotel page lists Via di Santa Eufemia 19, 00187, and GPS 41.896123, 12.484795.

Consider: The GPS is the hotel's, not a start or finish survey.

Which area fits?

Near the start

The FAQ says the 2027 start, and the finish, are at the Imperial Forums and the Colosseum, with the start on Via dei Fori Imperiali. This pin is a point on that street, not a mat.

Right next to the only start the FAQ names. The same sentence is also the finish, so a start hotel is also a finish hotel until a map splits them.
