Five days around the race

Start with the required tasks. The optional outings are suggestions, not appointments or a saved itinerary.

  1. Arrive early, collect your bib

    Essentials

    • If this is your chosen expo day: Javits opens 10 a.m.–8 p.m.; runner-material pickup ends 7:30 p.m.
    • Check your hotel address, assigned transport and confirmation email.

    Optional

    A nearby meal or a short outing; keep the arrival day flexible.

  2. Settle into your neighborhood

    Essentials

    • Collect your bib today if booked: 10 a.m.–8 p.m.; pickup ends 7:30 p.m.
    • Walk the approach to your assigned pickup if practical.

    Optional

    Give the crew some city time, or choose a short run close to the hotel.

  3. Finish the essentials

    Essentials

    • Last expo day: 9 a.m.–5 p.m.; bib pickup ends 4:30 p.m.
    • Buy breakfast, lay out your kit and agree on a reunion point.

    Optional

    A gentle shakeout and familiar food. Check park access around the Abbott Dash.

  4. Race, cheer, reunite

    Essentials

    • Follow your assigned transport and wave.
    • Supporters: check street access and agree on the side of the course.
    • Runners exit at West 77th; use the finish guide for reunion.

    Optional

    Celebrate after the hotel reset; leave margin before a fixed reservation.

  5. A slower morning, then home

    • Confirm checkout, luggage storage and the airport journey.
